When I started this new fitness chapter in my life and my new goals
of getting back into competitive fighting, I had a good idea about the
impact of the importance of a good diet. Little did I know though just
how much more I had to learn. Like allot of the new training techniques
I was introduced to I was skeptical about the outcome. Justin and I
spent allot of time discussing the importance of keeping a clean diet
and making sure I ate plenty!!! My biggest hurdle with my diet was I
wasn’t eating enough and it would stop my progress on the scale. Making
sure that I hit my high calorie and carb days were the key. I weighed
myself everyday for a month to track progress The only days I ever
dropped weight was the day after my high calorie day every week like
clockwork and maintained the rest of the week. I took allot from seeing
this and opened my eyes even more to the nutrition side of creating a
better me. Doesn’t matter how many workouts I put in a day or how
intense they are if there isn’t a great diet plan to support it, your
doing allot of work for very little results.
