Over five years ago I was introduced to Justin and I can say ever
since then I have had a different outlook on working out and eating
right. There were many things that I thought Justin would say that I’ve
probably heard before about motivational talks and lectures on how to do
things. I was a nurse going through school at the time and was all too
familiar about lectures on the human body!! Justin was different
though!! It was not about lecturing me, it’s about walking next to me
and defeating my obstacles with me. Justin makes a point to have each
individual feel like his classes are geared just for them. You can take
your speed, your time, your strength, but still be pushed to limits you
thought you couldn’t go. I have a knee injury that Justin has helped me
learn new techniques to strength and get the most mobility out of it. I
was going to Physical Therapy three times a week with less progress than
I had with Justin over the past few months. There were, and still are,
many times I come to class and laugh at Justin for what “he thinks” the
workout is going to be that day. I think to myself there is NO way I can
finish that whole workout in 30 minutes, if AT ALL!! Justin pushes you
through it though and you feel AMAZING!! Along with Justin’s great
classes, he is your own personal trainer in the wonderful FOOD world!
Nutrition has been one of my hardest battles and probably will continue
to be. Justin gives a great explanation on how to eat, and realistic
every day habits that make changes a lifestyle change. I have been on
many fad diets of shakes and calorie counting, but those don’t last. I
am NOT going to eat shakes for every meal or even 2 meals a day for the
rest of my life. I like food! Justin’s knowledge, patience, and thorough
explanations have given me the confidence to eat right.
